How can nightlife and entertainment districts be made safer through better collaboration between clubs, organisers, and the local community – while involving the police less? To explore this, the VCC is launching a pilot project around the Vienna Gürtel, aiming to determine who needs to be involved, when, and in what capacity, as well as which additional safety structures make sense to make both clubbing and the journey to and from the venues safer.
